My Husband and my kids and I are going to a blog about all the "REALLY"'s that occur in the world today. Sometimes I'm not sure if people are unaware or just plain lazy???? You tell me.Here's an example:i meant to write this last weekend, just haven't had the time. Isaiah and I rode our scooters over to one of the local elementary school playgrounds. it's a block away so Isaiah practically grew up on the gyms there. I usually have my phone with us, in the case a picturesque moment occurs or Mom needs us.
anyways, as we approached the playground, it was hard to not to notice the occasional piece of trash laying around. the more we saw, the more annoyed I got, which prompted me to snap these pix. when I came across the coke can, all that was going through my head was, "really. really!!" it looked as though the can had been purposely cracked open and placed just so a child could trip, slice an arm or something, and make the obligatory visit to the local hospital.
I mean, how damn hard could it be, to walk, at most, ten feet to the trash can after slurping down your sugar syrup! whoever it was that would rip the can open and indiscriminately toss it on a children's playground is a jerk, in my book.
so, I wanted to share this idea with my friends. if you are somewhere public, and you see a piece of trash where it shouldn't be, if it's not too much effort, please PICK IT UP.
I know, it's not yours, you didn't leave it there, but you know what? you'll make the world a better place for everyone. it's not that hard.
even Isaiah did it. and I helped him. before we left the playground, we scanned the yard and made certain that the place was nice for the next visitors. if you already naturally do this, thank you. PASS IT ON.
